As people reflect on their college days they remember the times that they had in classes, sporting
events, and the endless hours spent studying over a pile of books. For many individuals, these
thoughts of their college career will also stir up emotions of gratitude and thoughts on how they
should give back to their alma mater as a way to say thank you for setting their professional career
in motion.

To continue to empower students through education, The Fairmont State-Pierpont Foundation will
work to create, build, and manage relationships with not only our past donors but also the next
generationof philanthropists. Every private donation is important, from $1 to $1,000,000; your
donation will impact the educational experience of our Students.

Giving at the major gift level ($25,000 or more) to FSU or Pierpont is not a decision that can be
made over night. There are many questions that you need to ask yourself, for example:

● What department/school do I want to support?
● How can I help?
● What are my tax implications?
● What makes me want to support FSU or Pierpont?
● A professor
● A class
● A coach

If you have an interest in supporting FSU or Pierpont in a significant way, through a major gift or even a
planned gift, we would like to speak with you and hear more about your ideas. Our staff knows the
funding priorities of the Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College and
